Further Details On Alberto Del Rio's Arrest Revealed

The San Luis Potosí Attorney General's Office has issued an official statement about the domestic violence arrest of Alberto El Patron.

Within the statement, it has been revealed that El Patron allegedly committed acts of physical and verbal abuse against his partner at their home during an argument.

The statement reads:

"The Attorney General's Office of the State of San Luis Potosí (FGESLP) began investigations against Alberto 'N', who is accused of the probable crime of domestic violence against his partner, in events that occurred in the Lomas del Tecnológico neighbourhood in the state capital.

"The defendant was handed over to the Prosecutor's Office Specialising in Cases Involving Women, Families, and Sex Offences after being arrested in the act by officers of the State Civil Guard (GCE) of the State Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPCE), following a distress call made by the victim on the afternoon of Monday, April 6.

"According to the victim's complaint, when she encountered Alberto 'N' inside a residence in the Lomas del Tecnológico neighbourhood, an argument reportedly broke out that led the defendant to commit various acts of physical and verbal abuse against his partner.

"Following his arrest by GCE officers, the suspect was handed over to officials from the Public Prosecutor's Office, who will be responsible for properly compiling the investigative file and presenting him before the judicial authority at the initial hearing, where he will have to answer for the charges against him."

Since his arrest, Alberto El Patron has been suspended by The Crash, the Lucha Libre promotion that he has twice wrestled for in 2026. Promociones Acosta also pulled El Patron from their upcoming show on April 11, announcing Blue Demon Jr. as his replacement. El Patron was also originally scheduled to wrestle at Arena del Valle on April 12, a building said to be owned by WWE's Penta, but Burger Boy has been announced as his replacement.

Alberto El Patron was previously arrested on one charge of aggravated kidnapping and four sexual assault charges in May 2020, but the case was dismissed in December 2021 after a witness did not appear in court.
