WarGames will be a part of a WWE video game for the first time ever in WWE 2K23 with options for three vs. three or four vs. four matches. Players will be able to play the match either solo or with friends.

2K have revealed further details about WarGames ahead of WWE 2K23's release and they noted that customisation options will allow players to modify when wrestlers enter the match from 30 seconds to five-minute intervals. The rules can also be changed for WarGames to ensure the match can be won by either pinfall or submission, and the WarGames advantage can be randomised.

Players initially select one wrestler on their team to take control of but if that talent is in the holding cage, players can switch to the wrestler in the ring.

The option is also available for players to grab weapons from under the ring, including tables, stop signs, and kendo sticks, and leap from the top of the cage onto opponents below. The gap in between the two rings can also be used to inflict extra damage.

WarGames' local multiplayer on Steam and PlayStation allows for up to four players while up to six players can play WarGames at the same time on Xbox.

WWE 2K23 will be released on Friday, March 17 on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
