Gable Steveson Wrestles At Live Event Despite Being Taken Off NXT Roster
Gable Steveson has started wrestling on house shows
It emerged earlier this week that Gable Steveson had been removed from the NXT roster page. This led to questions raised about the future of Steveson in WWE, and whether his developmental run came to an end following what could only be described as a lacklustre debut against Baron Corbin at the NXT Great American Bash show two months back.
However, his run in WWE still may only just be beginning, and Steveson has begun competing on house shows. Over the last two days he has wrestled and defeated Dante Chen in matches off television. This could imply that the reasoning for Steveson being removed from the roster is due to the fact that he is going to be on the house circuit for a little while to improve in the ring and gain experience.
The Olympic Gold Medallist was poised for big things, being introduced at WrestleMania 38 and then drafted over to Monday Night Raw, but before even having a match on the red brand, he was sent down to NXT.
