Game Changer Wrestling have announced the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame, with inaugural induction ceremony slated for January 2022.

The announcement came via GCW’s Twitter account:

“*BREAKING* GCW and Orange Crush proudly present the inaugural: Indie Wrestling Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony & Gala! Live on Saturday, January 22nd from The Cutting Room in New York City and Streaming LIVE! Tickets on Sale Monday (11/22) More details TBA!”

The ceremony is in conjunction with JCW co-owner and pro wrestling-zine maker Orange Crush.

No names have been announced as of writing for the hall of fame, but with the ceremony taking place in New York it’s safe to assume that members of the local scene will be represented. As for indie legends currently on GCW’s roster, the likes of 2 Cold Scorpio, The Briscoe Brothers, and Nick Gage could all credibly be first ballot inductees.

The Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame joins other established hall of fames such as the PWHF, WWE HOF, TNA/IMPACT HOF, Japan Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame, Cauliflower Alley Club, and others.
