Over the last several years, AEW has been ready, willing, and open to work with a vast array of professional wrestling promotions from around the world, currently most closely working alongside the likes of NJPW, STARDOM, and CMLL, with wrestlers appearing aplenty around the independent scene too. The next stages of AEW’s relationship with other companies has seen certain independent promotions add their content to the growing MyAEW streaming platform… and there is another more notable one that could one day be added too in the form of GCW.
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, it was revealed by GCW owner Brett Lauderdale that he’d held some talks and discussions with AEW about the potential of appearing on the MyAEW service at some time in the future, but there was no confirmation on any deals taking place. GCW is currently platformed on the depleting TrillerTV service, which has seen the likes of wXw develop growing issues with the company, plus an AEW lawsuit regarding overdue payments. Lauderdale did note that at present, GCW were still experiencing a strong relationship with Triller.
In recent years GCW has platformed some WWE stars, with the likes of Natalya, Karrion Kross, and Shayna Baszler appearing at Bloodsport.
