Scorpio Sky is an AEW original, appearing way back at the very first Double Or Nothing PPV, reigning as one half of the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions, one of the first few men to challenge for the AEW World Championship, a two-time TNT Champion, and more! However, there is a chance that he might not be on the roster for much longer.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Scorpio Sky’s AEW contract is set to expire over the coming months, with no mention of any ongoing talks to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Sky’s time in AEW has been a tumultuous one over the last few years, with both injuries and a lack of creative plans leading to him having some very lengthy absences from programming, wrestling only 25 matches on AEW shows since all the way back in 2021. He spoke about being “benched” by Tony Khan a couple of years ago, questioning his lack of being featured. He is currently a member of the SkyFlight team alongside the likes of Top Flight, Zayda Steel, Leila Grey, and former SCU teammate Christopher Daniels.
