Gigi Dolin Believed To Have Suffered Torn ACL
Gigi Dolin's injury has been revealed to be very severe
NXT’s Gigi Dolin has been on the shelf for several months, last wrestling in a match back on March 12 in a singles match with Arianna Grace, losing by disqualification. Dolin remained on NXT television in vignettes, receiving a makeover from Grace due to the stipulation connected to her losing the match. Dolin has remained on TV here and there, interacting with the likes of TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace and the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Champion Lola Vice.
It was noted at the time that Dolin had suffered a serious knee injury, though the exact details surrounding the injury in terms of level of severity and return timetable were unclear. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer has provided a big update and has revealed that Dolin is believed to have suffered from a torn ACL, which means she could be out of action for the rest of the year depending on how serious the tear is.
The 27-year-old was spotted recently with a leg brace per Fightful, but it was said that she had not been to the performance center recently.
