Giulia Cleared For In-Ring Return Ahead Of Marigold Summer Destiny

Giulia won't be missing Marigold Summer Destiny on Saturday, July 13 and Marigold Founder Rossy Ogawa has revealed to Tokyo Sports that Giulia has been medically cleared to compete at the event. The promotion plan to hold a press conference on July 12 where more details will be revealed.

Giulia sustained a fractured wrist in May on Marigold's first-ever show where she teamed with Utami Hayashishita against Sareee and Bozilla. Giulia underwent wrist surgery, reportedly upon the urging of WWE, and she is scheduled to face Sareee at Marigold Summer Destiny. WWE's IYO SKY is also scheduled to be in action on the show against Utami Hayashishita. 

Reports had suggested that WWE were hopeful of Giulia making her full in-ring NXT debut at Heatwave but the fractured wrist ultimately caused those plans to be scrapped. As of last word, Giulia is expected to be involved at NXT's next major show and the WWE brand want her on TV at the earliest opportunity. 

WWE NXT Great American Bash will be held on Tuesday, August 6 as a TV special, while the next NXT PPV/PLE will reportedly be No Mercy on September 1 in Denver, Colorado.
