Giulia Officially Called Up To WWE Main Roster, Brand Revealed

Ever since the episode of Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania 41, NXT’s Giulia has been a consistent presence on the red brand, banding up with fellow NXT wrestler Roxanne Perez, targeting the likes of Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley. It was noted over the last few weeks that despite their respective main roster appearances, they were still technically considered as ‘NXT superstars’ - this is no longer the case.

On last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, it was officially revealed that former NXT Women’s Champion Giulia had been called up to the main roster. Not only that, but SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis revealed that she had landed on the SmackDown brand, despite her recent RAW appearances. 

Her debut match on the blue brand was also revealed, as she is set for a big triple threat match on next week’s show against both Charlotte Flair and Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega in a Money In The Bank qualifier. It currently isn’t known if Perez will be called to either RAW or SmackDown following the end of her alliance with Giulia. On a recent episode of NXT, Giulia competed against Jordynne Grace in a match that saw Giulia take several harsh looking bumps - reports emerged in the aftermath of WWE's reaction to the match, which can be read here.
