Goldberg Spears Rival Fan At Atlanta Falcons Game

Goldberg was back on the gridiron.

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg showed up in his old stomping grounds yesterday.

The former WWE Universal Champion was in attendance for the NFL game between the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he decided to spear a Bucs fan.

After hitting his signature move, the 56-year-old was presented with a custom Falcons WWE Title belt and then delivered his trademark 'Who's next?' catchphrase.

Goldberg played for the Falcons between 1992 and 94. He was cut in 1995 and subsequently retired from professional football due to injuries.

While the fans inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium may have enjoyed Da Man's antics, former WWE star Christopher Nowinski was critical of them.

Taking to X, Nowinski responded to a clip of the spear by writing: 'This set back #concussion progress by 20 years'.

The 45-year-old was forced to retire from professional wrestling early due to the effects of post-concussion syndrome. He has since dedicated himself to studying the effects of head trauma in athletes and has become a leading voice in the field of CTE research.
