Gravity Issues Statement On AEW Release

Gravity comments on AEW release

For the first time in company history, All Elite Wrestling carried out a mass set of talent releases on Monday, April 1 as the likes of Stu Grayson, The Boys, Jose The Assistant, Gravity, Dasha Fuentes, Slim J, and Anthony Henry were all fired by the promotion.

Gravity has since issued a statement on his AEW release, tweeting: "I just can say thank you @aew and thank you Mr. @tonyrkhan for this time in the company! I am grateful for the moments I was able to experience being within the company and for all the learning I took away! It's time to continue my path and see what destiny has for me!"

Gravity made his All Elite Wrestling debut in January 2023 during a taping of AEW Dark and he began to be used more by the promotion from the Summer of 2023 where he faced the likes of PAC, Samoa Joe, and QT Marshall. Bandido's brother was also utilised in Ring of Honor but he hadn't wrestled for either of Tony Khan's promotions since February 2024.

The likes of Anthony Henry and Slim J have also addressed their departures from All Elite Wrestling.
