Grayson Waller Comments On Working WWE Main Event

WWE NXT Superstar Grayson Waller on what it's like to work Main Event.

In a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, NXT Superstar Grayson Waller spoke about competing on WWE Main Event back in November. The current number one contender to the NXT Championship explained:

"It was the best. I think with this NXT crowd, it’s the same people every week. They love it, they come every week. But you kind of get used to it. [...] I went out there for that match with Tozawa, you look around and you’re like, ‘Wow. This is what the big time’s like.’ But I felt completely comfortable. You never really know until you walk through the curtain. You can kinda see the crowd beforehand, you can kinda hear it, but you don’t know until you walk through, and the moment I walked through, I was like, ‘Yeah, this is where I belong.’ It was proper Tozawa too. He wasn’t a ninja anymore. It was like an actual Tozawa to fight against, which was sick."

At NXT Deadline, Waller became number one contender by winning the inaugural men's Iron Survivor match. He is set to take on Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship at tonight's New Year's Evil.

H/T to Fightful.
