Grayson Waller Receives WWE Storyline Suspension After Shawn Michaels Confrontation

WWE has announced an (in-storyline) suspension for Grayson Waller after his confrontation with Shawn Michaels.

WWE has announced a kayfabe one week suspension for NXT Superstar Grayson Waller, tweeting:

"BREAKING: Due to his actions during the Vengeance Day Media Call, @GraysonWWE has been suspended for one week."

Waller interrupted NXT General Manager (and WWE Hall of Famer) Shawn Michaels during a media call in the aftermath of NXT Vengeance Day. At the show - which took place on February 4 in Charlotte, North Carolina - Waller lost his main event Steel Cage Match against NXT Champion Bron Breakker.

Waller's grievance stems from the stipulation of the match, which could be won by the traditional means of pinfall or submission, but not via an escape from the cage. This was made clear shortly before the bout itself, with Waller tweeting

"Anyone else find it interesting that @ShawnMichaels introduced a stipulation, mere hours before the match, that gave Bron a massive advantage on Saturday? Guess it pays to be mates with HBK."

Breakker's current reign with the NXT Championship has passed 300 days, having won it back from main roster Superstar Dolph Ziggler in March 2022. It is Bron's second run with the title.
