Gunther Vs. Jey Uso Confirmed For Night 1 Of WWE WrestleMania 41

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther will officially put his title on the line against Jey Uso on night one of WWE WrestleMania 41 on Saturday, April 19.

The match is expected to open the show, with the main event match set to be the triple threat between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk. Many had wondered when Gunther vs. Uso would take place, but official WrestleMania merchandise states the two will clash on night one.

Other merchandise reveals have confirmed that Charlotte Flair vs. WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will also take place on night one, whilst Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Women’s World Champion IYO SKY and John Cena vs. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will take place on night two on Sunday, April 20.

Uso earned his shot at the title by shockingly winning the Men’s Royal Rumble match in early 2025. ‘Main Event' Jey had previously stated he didn’t care when his match took place on Mania’s card, with his title shot at Mania XLI set to be his second ever singles match at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’.
