Hair Vs. Hair Match Set For AEW Road Rager
A first time stipulation for AEW set for Road Rager 2022
AEW have announced a first ever match for the promotion, as Chris Jericho and Ortiz are set to face off in a Hair vs. Hair match at the upcoming Road Rager 2022 edition of Dynamite.
The match came about after Ortiz cut a lock of Jericho’s hair on the June 1 edition of Dynamite, with an incensed Jericho later formally challenging Ortiz to the match, with AEW confirming the stipulation shortly afterwards:
“It's going to be Hair versus Hair between @IAmJericho and @ortiz_powerful before they can get to #BloodAndGuts! Watch #AEWDynamite LIVE on @TBSNetwork right now!”
Jericho promised to shave Ortiz bald and burn him - he is a wizard after all - and the two will clash before the previously announced Blood and Guts II match between the Jericho Appreciation Society and Eddie Kingston, Proud & Powerful, and The Blackpool Combat Club on June 29.
Road Rager is set for June 15 and so far only the Hair vs. Hair match has been announced for the special edition Dynamite.
