Ric Flair Working With WWE On A New Project

Ric Flair and WWE working together on a new project

Ric Flair is set to work with WWE again, as WWE announced a new project with ‘The Nature Boy’ is in the works.

Taking to Twitter, WWE announced that Flair and film maker Tom Rinaldi will be partnering to make a two-hour documentary about the two-time WWE Hall of Famer:

“Woooo! @RicFlairNatrBoy, Tom Rinaldi and @WWE enter partnership on an unprecedented 2 hour documentary featuring never-before-revealed history about the one and only Nature Boy!” Tweeted WWE.

Flair has been persona-non-grata in the company since the Vice Dark Side of the Ring episode covering the notorious ‘plane-ride from hell’ aired in 2021, with the documentary detailing alleged acts of sexual abuse and public indecency performed by Flair on the flight in 2002.

After the episode of Dark Side of the Ring aired, WWE cut all ties with Flair, removing the NWA icon from WWE’s opening video montage, and pulling all Flair merchandise from WWE’s online shops. However, as seen with the likes of Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior before him, WWE doesn’t often permanently close the door on a former performer.
