Hangman Page has finally defeated Swerve Strickland, beating his long-time rival in the main event of AEW All Out.

The two competitors faced off in an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match on Saturday night and the match featured plenty of carnage, including Swerve stapling a photo of his family to Page's face, Hangman hitting a jumping lariat with barbed wire wrapped around his arm, both men battering each other with a cinder block, Swerve spiking Hangman with a charred spike from his burned-down home, and a powerbomb from the top rope.

The finish saw Hangman demand Swerve beg for mercy but Strickland refused. This only led to Hangman sticking a syringe in the side of Swerve's mouth and giving his fellow former AEW World Champion an unprotected chair shot to the head. Before Page could make the cover, referee Paul Turner waved the match off, handing Hangman the win via knockout.

Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland have been feuding for almost a year, with Swerve Strickland winning two of their sanctioned singles matches at WrestleDream 2023 and the Texas Death Match at Full Gear 2023, while their singles match in February 2024 went to a 30-minute time-limit draw.

Page and Swerve were also involved in a Three-Way over the AEW World Championship at Revolution that was won by then-champion Samoa Joe, with Hangman taking time off after the match for paternity leave. Upon Page's return, Swerve had defeated Samoa Joe for the AEW World Title and Hangman made it his mission to ruin Swerve's life.

Hangman's interference in the AEW World Title match at All In led to the Steel Cage Match being sanctioned for All Out but the match was made an Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match after Page burned down Swerve's childhood home.
