Blackpool Combat Club Turn On Bryan Danielson, Try And Suffocate Him At AEW All Out 2024

BCC turn on Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out

Bryan Danielson has fewer friends following AEW All Out.

Danielson successfully defended the AEW World Championship against Jack Perry in the semi-main event of All Out on Saturday, September 7. Danielson's reign and full-time career looked to be in jeopardy post-match, however, as Christian Cage and The Patriarchy made their way to the ring as Christian looked set to cash in his guaranteed AEW World Title match contract that he earned at All In.

Jon Moxley and the Blackpool Combat Club ultimately made the save for Danielson and after The Patriarchy headed to the back, the BCC looked set to celebrate in the ring together but Claudio Castagnoli suddenly laid out Danielson with a European uppercut. PAC then held back Wheeler Yuta while Jon Moxley put a plastic bag over Danielson's head and tried to suffocate his former friend to death.

Moxley, Castagnoli, and PAC were soon joined by Marina Shafir and they all walked off together after Danielson went limp. AEW doctors then gave Danielson oxygen and he was carried out of the arena.

Jon Moxley had displayed a renewed aggressive attitude in recent weeks, with a recent promo said to be inspired by Romper Stomper, a cult classic film starring Russell Crowe.
