Hangman Page Set To Take Time Off

Hangman Page taking time off from AEW

Hangman Page might not be on All Elite Wrestling programming for much longer following Sunday's Revolution pay-per-view.

Adam Page challenged Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship at Revolution in a Three-Way that also featured Swerve Strickland. Page was ultimately the talent who took the fall after doing everything in his power simply to prevent Swerve Strickland from becoming the AEW World Champion.

According to Fightful Select, the word within All Elite Wrestling for some time has been that Hangman Page will be taking time off from AEW TV. There is no word on when he will begin his hiatus but it may have been set up at Revolution when he attacked multiple referees at the pay-per-view.

If Page does take time off, as is expected, he could be gone from the company for a few months. Page's status for Revolution was touch-and-go which is why the promotion ran an injury angle ahead of the show. Hangman almost missed the pay-per-view due to a personal matter.

Hangman has been one of the promotion's top stars since All Elite Wrestling was founded in 2019. His programme with Swerve Strickland looks set to continue into the Spring and Summer of 2024.
