Update On Jeff Hardy's AEW Absence

A slow process for Jeff to get back into the ring.

Jeff Hardy's most recent AEW match ended when his opponent Sammy Guevara's knee accidentally struck him in the face while hitting a Shooting Star Press. Guevara won the No Disqualification contest, while Jeff walked away with a broken nose.

Providing an update on Jeff's condition during a recent edition of his The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast, his older brother said:

"Obviously, Jeff's nose, as I said, it was broken, had a couple little breaks in it. He's getting some tests done on his sinuses to see how his sinuses are doing. It's not a fast project. These things move slow, but we're just trying to make sure his health is first and foremost and putting that above everything else. So that's the main thing, kind of to update on the status of him".

Due to the injury, Jeff was subsequently pulled from a match planned for the February 21 edition of Dynamite.

Earlier this year, Jeff claimed that The Hardys were 'stuck' on Rampage. Before that, Matt expressed his frustrations with the team's AEW booking, citing changing creative plans and a lack of direction.
