PAC Returning To AEW 'Very Soon', Reveals He Almost 'Popped His Clogs'

PAC is on his way back.

During last night's Revolution Zero Hour pre-show event, a vignette aired hyping the impending return of PAC.

In a typically menacing promo, the 37-year-old told Tony Khan that he would never get rid of him and would be back 'very soon' to drag this 'festering scrotum of a company' into a new age.

Despite saying it was none of fans' business where he has been for the past eight-or-so months, the Newcastle native did reference the fact that he had almost 'popped his clogs', inferring that whatever it was had been potentially life-threatening.

The inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion has not competed in a match since July, when he defeated Gravity on the July 26 edition of Dynamite. It was one of only three AEW matches he wrestled during 2023. He also challenged then-Ring of Honor World Champion Claudio Castagnoli at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.

Tony Khan had previously referred to 'internal injuries' as the reason for The Bastard's absence.

A recent report noted that PAC had been backstage at the January 10 Dynamite taping, leading some to believe a return to action was imminent.
