Hangman Page To Swerve Strickland Following Brutal AEW Texas Death Match: "You Are With Me Forever"

Hangman Page on his AEW Full Gear match with Swerve Strickland

All Elite Wrestling produced one of their most violent matches to date at the Full Gear pay-per-view on November 18.

Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland went one-on-one in a Texas Death Match at the pay-per-view and the contest featured a stapler, a barbed wire chair, and Hangman Page drinking and then spraying Swerve Strickland's blood into the air like Triple H.

In a surprising result, Swerve Strickland ended up picking up the win following interference by Brian Cage as Swerve "hanged the hangman" with a metal chain to score the 10 count.

Following the widely-praised match, Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland look set to be career rivals, with Page writing on Instagram following the match: "You are with me forever."

If the feud between Strickland and Page will continue immediately is unknown. Strickland stated following Full Gear that he and Hangman "better be done"

"You can't take me to hell. You're already there. You can't take me to somewhere I've already been and I have real estate in, you son of a b***h. Texas, LA, I don't care if it's Seattle, I don't care if it's across the globe. I don't care if we go to the UK and do this again. I own you now, Hangman. After this bulls**t, I own AEW. Everybody in that locker room better f*****g fear me. That's goddamn right. I'm just getting started in this. Whose house? This is Swerve's house. No, this is Swerve's dungeon, and I'm hanging everybody like the executioner that I am. Believe that. Hangman, we better be done because the next time you step into the ring with me, you're dead," Strickland said.
