Heel Turn On WWE NXT 2.0

Shenanigans went down on NXT 2.0

Deep down we all knew it was coming, and on the July 12 edition of NXT 2.0 it was confirmed, when Cora Jade turned heel on tag partner Roxanne Perez.

Perez was attacked in the NXT parking lot at the beginning of last night’s show with Perez’s scheduled NXT Women’s Championship match against Champion Mandy Rose up in the air as a result. Jade wanted to sub in for Perez, but Roxanne made her way to the ring, and came within inches of winning the title before Cora Jade clattered her with the tag title belt and revealed she was behind the parking lot attack.

After Mandy retained the Women’s Championship, Jade continued her assault on Perez, nailing her with her skateboard.

The pair only won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships from Toxic Attraction a week ago, but Jade has seemingly soured on the relationship, and whilst the two are technically still the reigning and defending NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, as of writing there is no word as to the status of the titles.
