Hollywood Star Watches MLW

A Hollywood star found himself tuning into Major League Wrestling's Blood & Thunder show that aired on YouTube on Friday night.

Taking to his own Instagram Stories, Mark Wahlberg noted that he was "doing homework" by watching MLW Blood & Thunder. Wahlberg tagged Skydance and Amazon Prime Video in the post, showcasing MLW to his 30 million followers in the process.

Wahlberg tuning into the show comes after it was announced he will star in Balls Up with Paul Walter Hauser, an action comedy about two former marketing executives who end up being hunted across the United States due to their drunken antics at a football match. The movie has been written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who co-wrote Deadpool & Wolverine. 

Paul Walter Hauser has signed with Major League Wrestling and he appeared at Blood & Thunder, challenging "Filthy" Tom Lawlor to an MMA Cage Match with Mister Saint Laurent banned from ringside. Lawlor accepted the Cobra Kai star's challenge and the match will take place at a future MLW event.

Paul Walter Hauser made his pro wrestling debut in November 2023 and he has had seven matches so far across the indies and MLW. WWE and MLW are currently at odds over a trademark for 'Hart Foundation.'
