Hulk Hogan has suggested that he could play a role in President-elect Donald Trump's administration.
During an appearance on Fox News this past Sunday, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer recalled speaking with Trump during his rally at Madison Square Garden in October, saying:
"My president said, 'You know something, you'd be great to run the President's Council on Physical Fitness'".
The President's Council on Physical Fitness is a federal advisory panel that encourages healthy eating and physical activity. President Biden renewed the council until September 30, 2025.
Continuing, the Hulkster added:
"At the end of the day, when I was in the back at Madison Square Garden after the whole rally, we were talking about Robert Kennedy, I was talking about nutrition, and how many foreign countries won't even let their people eat the food that we eat here in America. It's so bad, and it's poisoned a generation of kids. And at the end of the day, we start talking about physical fitness".
Kennedy was nominated by Trump to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. It was a controversial pick, as Kennedy has been accused of spreading anti-vaccine misinformation in the past and health experts worry he may continue to spread such information, as well as meddle with government agencies.
Linda McMahon, Trump's pick for Education Secretary, is facing a lawsuit filed by former WWE ring boys, which the incoming administration was apparently unaware of.
