Hulk Hogan Under Consideration To Induct Muhammad Ali Into WWE Hall Of Fame

Muhammad Ali potentially to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame by Hulk Hogan

Muhammad Ali is set to be posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania XL weekend, with the boxing legend having had several notable moments in a pro-wrestling ring.

Ali notably battled Antonio Inoki in the 1970s, and was the victim of a Gorilla Monsoon airplane spin in the WWWF, but one of his most famous pro-wrestling appearances came as the ringside enforcer for the main event of WrestleMania I in 1985. Ali was on hand to make sure the tag match between Hulk Hogan & Mr. T against Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff didn’t descend into chaos, and a report from Fightful Select suggests that Hogan could be set to induct Ali into the Hall of Fame.

Hogan himself was first inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005 alongside fellow Mania I main eventers Piper, Orndorff, and ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton (Piper and Orndorff’s associate), whilst Jimmy Snuka (Hogan and T’s associate) was inducted in 1996, and Mr. T in 2014.

The 2024 Hall of Fame class is set to be headlined by Paul Heyman, with Bull Nakano, Thunderbolt Patterson, Lia Maivia, and The U.S. Express (Mike Rotunda and Barry Windham) set to round out the class.
