IMPACT Knockouts Title Match Set For NWA Empowerrr
Deonna Purrazzo will defend the gold at the first ever NWA all women’s PPV
After recently agreeing to appear on NWA’s upcoming all-women Empowerrr PPV at the behest of Micki James and Gail Kim, IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo has finally found out who she will be facing at the event; Melina Perez.
As seen on last night’s edition of IMPACT Wrestling, Purrazzo will be putting the gold on the line against Perez, with the two exchanging insults in the ring before finally signing on for the bout. Perez - best know for he appearances in WWE in the Divas division, and as part of MNM - has been with NWA since 2019, working as both an in-ring competitor, and formerly as Thunder Rosa’s manager.
Purrazzo has held the Knockouts title since November 2020, and is inthe midst of her second run with the title.
This title match joins the NWA Women’s World Title match between champion Kamille against AEW’s Leyla Hirsch, and Chelsea Green against the winner of the NWA Women’s Invitational Cup.
NWA Empowerr is set to take place on August 28.
