IMPACT Wrestling star TJP has successfully undergone surgery on a broken nose. The former two-time X Division Champion is believed to have been wrestling through the injury for the past month, and only just had surgery due to his schedule being hectic.

Taking to Instagram, TJP shared the following beneath pictures of his nose:

“Hey guys! For those that have asked my story post yesterday was from surgery for a nose fracture that I’ve been performing with for a few weeks. I broke my nose about a month ago and had been wrestling with it broken and kinda loose. Had to finally get it set in place and a tube put inside for the septum. Just needed to wait until I had some time to do it because my schedule was really heavy the last month or so. Thanks for all the well wishes, I hope that alleviates everyone’s concerns. For those who applaud my face being broken, thanks for watching, and I hope you still enjoy the matches on Impact and NJPW Strong.”

Given how IMPACT block tape their shows, it is not believed that TJP will miss any significant time. The latest round of tapings wrapping recently, and TJP is believed to have had surgery this past Thursday.

TJP is set to face X Division Champ Josh Alexander in a 60-minute Ironman Match for the title on this week’s IMPACT, with the first portion of the match airing on Before the IMPACT. TJP is also set to wrestle on the next episode of NJPW Strong, taking on Kevin Knight.
