IMPACT Turning Point and Will Ospreay set for Newcastle leg of UK tour
We are a little under two months away from IMPACT Wrestling’s upcoming UK Invasion Tour, and it has been revealed that the Newcastle leg of the tour will be taped as a Turning Point IMPACT Plus special.
IMPACT are making four stops on their UK tour, with it reported that the shows will all be taped for IMPACT Wrestling TV. With the announcement of Turning Point in the Walker Dome, this will be the first Turning Point show held outside of the USA, and the first event held since the 2021 edition.
As well as the announcement of Turning Point, IMPACT also revealed that Will Ospreay will be wrestling on the show, following on from the reveal that the current NJPW United Kingdom Heavyweight Champion is set to return to the company for Bound For Glory on October 21.
Ospreay’s only previous IMPACT matches came in 2016, and Ospreay’s inclusion on this tour sees him join previously announced names such as IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley, Moose, Eddie Edwards, Deonna Purrazzo, Frankie Kazarian, Brian Myers, Grado, Joe Hendry, and Gail Kim.
