IMPACT Wrestling Announce Co-Promotional Event With Lucha Underground

A show of big names is set to take place over WrestleMania weekend.

In a press-release sent out today, IMPACT Wrestling have announced a co-promotional event with Lucha Underground over WrestleMania weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana.

'The stars of IMPACT Wrestling will face off against the stars of Lucha Underground on Friday, April 6, starting at 9:00 p.m. CT at The Sugar Mill (1021 Convention Center Blvd.) during what will be the biggest weekend of the year in professional wrestling.

will stream live exclusively on IMPACT Wrestling’s Twitch channel (

). The channel will feature over 10 hours of original daily content for three days during WrestleCon weekend, including exclusive podcasts and behind-the-scenes footage.'

Both promotions will be sending a mini-roster of talent to the event, and they are as follows:

IMPACT will be represented by current IMPACT World Champion 

Austin Aries, Alberto El Patron, Eli Drake, Moose, Eddie Edwards, LAX, oVe (including Sami Callihan), Trevor Lee, Brian Cage, Allie, Rosemary, and Tara Valkyrie. Scott Steiner will also be there 'live and uncensored', although it's unclear whether he'll be competing.

Lucha Underground will be represented by a number of stars including 

Pentagon, Fenix, King Cuerno, Drago, Aerostar, Killshot (Shane Strickland), Matanza (Jeff Cobb), The Mack, Jack Evans, and more that are yet to be announced.

Matches for April 6th will be announced over the next few weeks, and could see a lot of unique match-ups.

Both promotions will also be hosting a WrestleCon meet and greet on the day of the show, and fans who purchase first and second-row tickets to the subsequent event will gain more access.
