Minoru Suzuki is in the house

IMPACT Wrestling came once again from Sam’s Town Las Vegas, as two hugs bouts capped off an exciting night of pro wrestling.

After making his presence known last week, the IMPACT audience finally witnessed Minoru Suzuki in action, as ‘Murder Grandpa’ himself teamed with Moose and W. Morrissey to take on Josh Alexander, Eddie Edwards, and Matt Cardona in tonight’s main event.

All eyes were on Alexander and Suzuki, and the pair had spells of excellent wrestling, before things went even further south and all six men just started wailing on each other. Despite spirited flights from the faces, the heels dominated periods of this match, with the ending coming as Suzuki hit a Gotch Style Piledriver on Alexander, as Morrissey levelled Eddie Edwards with a big boot and a powerbomb for the three as the heels posed over their battered foes.

New Knockouts Champion Mickie James was in action, defending her newly won gold against old rival Madison Rayne, after Rayne made the challenge last week. Mickie started strong, but soon former five-time Knockouts Champion Rayne took control and kept it throughout, until a top rope Lou Thesz Press by James got the win out of nowhere. Post-match, number one contender Mercedes Martinez made er presence felt, and whilst Martinez showed James respect, she also made her intentions clear, challenging James to a title match at Turning Point.

The IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers were in non-title action against FinJuice, with the animosity between the two teams showing no signs of simmering down. The GBs dominated Juice for the majority of the match, until a spirited David Finlay ran riot. However, when all four men were down, Bullet Club ran to the ring to cause mayhem, with Chris Bey, and Hikuleo low blowing everyone in sight and rendering the bout a no contest. Scott D’Amore later announced that FinJuice and Bullet Club will have a number one contender’s match next week.

We also have new number one contender to the X Division title, as Laredo Kid defeated Steve Maclin, Rohit Raju, and Black Taurus in a fast paced four-corners match. Kid emerged victorious after pinning Rohit, prompting X Division Champion Trey Miguel to come out and congratulate his new opponent. However, Steve Maclin ruined the moment by attacking both men, but Miguel and Kid teamed together to send Maclin packing.

Elsewhere: The Iinspiration ran afoul of Decay and The Undead Bridesmaids. Chris Sabin got one over Ace Austin when he defeated Madman Fulton. Eric Young flattened Jai Vidal and sent a message to Rhino and Heath. And Johnny Swinger is trying to raise funds so he can open a new Swinger’s Palace in Vegas.
