Nostalgia runs wild at WrestleCon...
Jan 17, 2020
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is fondly remembered by many professional wrestling fans. The promotion broadcasted an alternative product to WWE with top stars like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Sting, Christian Cage and Kurt Angle regularly wrestling in top-quality matches.
TNA ultimately died in 2017 as they rebranded as IMPACT Wrestling, but the Nashville based promotion
announced on Twitterlast night that TNA will be revived for one night only during WrestleMania week. The nostalgia-filled show will take place at The Ritz in Ybor City, Florida on April 3 as part of WrestleCon.
Fans suspected TNA would be revived back in October after
Ethan Page tweeted:"I remember getting 'talked to' for tweeting about TNA Mania weekend. @IMPACTWRESTLING is BRINGING TNA BACK for one night! I had to take my finger off the pulse for a quick second to tweet this out. IM. SO. EXCITED. TNA! TNA! TNA! PUT ME IN THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN!"
Wrestling fans will seemingly be spoiled for choice during WrestleMania week. Outside of WWE's events, those in Tampa, Florida can attend Joey Janela's Spring Break, Ring Of Honor's Supercard Of Honor, NJPW's Lion's Break Project 3, and Joey Ryan's P***s Party.
