IMPACT Wrestling Viewership Drops To 3rd Lowest On AXS TV

A bad week in the ratings

The December 16 episode of IMPACT Wrestling saw viewership drop to the third lowest registered by the company since moving to AXS TV.

According to Wrestlenomics, this past week's episode of IMPACT Wrestling drew in an audience of 71,000 viewers, which is a significant drop from the 90,000 that tuned in for the previous week. That makes the December 16 episode the third lowest in history on AXS.

IMPACT Wrestling debuted on AXS TV in December 2019 but, worryingly, all three of their lowest viewed episodes have come in the last six months. The least viewed was on Thanksgiving earlier this year as just 48,000 tuned in, while the July 1 episode saw only 69,000 viewers watch IMPACT.

In terms of the key 18-49 demographic, IMPACT registered a 0.02 rating, which equates to around 22,000 viewers. As with the overall audience figure, this is down from last week's number.

The December 16 episode of IMPACT Wrestling continued the build to Hard To Kill 2022, and saw Matt Cardona accidentally strike Chelsea Green with a chair after aiming for Moose.
