IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Tessa Blanchard Again Addresses Allegations Of Bullying And Racism

During a media call ahead of IMPACT tapings in Las Vegas...

Ahead of Tessa Blanchard's IMPACT Wrestling World Championship match against Sami Callihan, numerous female wrestlers including Allysin Kay, Chelsea Green and La Rosa Negra alleged that Blanchard had been a bully in the past and corroborated a story that while performing in Japan, she spat in La Rosa Negra's face and used a racial slur towards her.

Since then, further reports of Blanchard being a bully while in Women Of Wrestling have emerged. Despite this, The Queen Of The Carolinas has previously denied any wrongdoing and she again addressed the allegations against her during a media call last night.

The IMPACT World Champion again denied using a racial slur, adding "It's just not in my heart" and said the accusations against her were "Not true". She admitted she took a break from social media after the incident as it deeply affected her and said the allegations were essentially just female wrestlers jumping "on the bandwagon."

Blanchard said: "I've never used a racial slur of any kind. It's just not in my heart, it's not something that I've done. It's not something that I will do. It's just not true. Some people, they look at social media and someone will make an accusation, someone will say something and then everyone hops on the bandwagon.

"We've all got our own stories. There's a side of everyone's life that's public and there's a part that's private. There's a part that's for all the world to see and can be judged by anyone that's actually interested in it and it's very unfortunate that some people resort to saying certain things but it's just not true.

"To see your co-workers and to see your peers say things about you, some things that are just not true about you, it did hit me very hard, but I'm the kind of person who has extreme mental strength."
