In-Ring Debut, Multiple Title Matches Set For IMPACT Rebellion
Plenty announced for IMPACT Rebellion, including the in-ring debut of a former WWE star

IMPACT Wrestling's Director of Authority Santino Marella will make his in-ring debut for the promotion at the upcoming Rebellion pay-per-view on Sunday, April 16.
It was announced on Thursday night's episode of IMPACT that Marella will team with IMPACT Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry and Dirty Dango to take on The Design. The match was made official after The Design attacked Marella. The former WWE United States Champion has been with IMPACT since being revealed as the new on-screen authority figure at Hard to Kill in January.
The X-Division Championship will also be on the line in a Three-Way Elimination Match at Rebellion when Trey Miguel defends the gold against Jonathan Gresham and "Speedball" Mike Bailey. Gresham and Bailey looked to continue their programme on Thursday night in a number one contender's match but the bout ended in a no-contest following interference from Trey. It was announced after the interference that Trey would instead face both men.
Ultimate X will also be used at Rebellion, this time for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships. Chris Bey and Ace Austin will defend their titles against former champions The Motor City Machine Guns.
Elsewhere, The Coven will put the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles on the line against Rosemary and Jessicka of The Death Dollz. The teams for Hardcore War have been revealed too. On Bully Ray's side is Kenny King, Masha Slamovich, Jason Hotch and John Skyler. There is still one spot open on Tommy Dreamer's team but joining the Innovator of Violence is Frankie Kazarian, Killer Kelly, and Yuya Uemura.
Already made official for the pay-per-view is Steve Maclin vs. KUSHIDA for the vacant IMPACT World Championship. Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace will also compete for the Knockouts World Championship but Mickie James will be added to the match if she is cleared for in-ring action in time.
