A popular star made their return from injury at the January 29 taping of AEW Collision from Huntsville, Alabama.

The taping, held following a live episode of AEW Dynamite, saw Chris Jericho and Bryan Keith of the Learning Tree defeat The Outrunners following interference from Big Bill. The Learning Tree beat down Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd following the match until Bandido's music suddenly filled the arena.

The former ROH World Champion then charged to the ring and laid out the Learning Tree, which included a tornillo to Jericho and a press slam to Bryan Keith through the table.

Bandido has suffered from multiple injuries over the past couple of years. He spent 18 months out of action with a broken wrist from the Summer of 2023 until his return at Final Battle 2024.

Bandido's Final Battle appearance kicked off a programme with Chris Jericho as the luchador made the save for Matt Cardona. Bandido was injured only moments into his return, however, as he suffered a concussion after landing on the back of his head following a missile dropkick.
