Batman Who Laughs inspired Rhea Ripley outfit

WWE WrestleMania 41 featured tributes to pop culture with pro wrestlers' outfits at the company's biggest show of the year on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20.

Rhea Ripley notably wore a tribute to the Batman Who Laughs - as can be seen above - for her match which opened night two of WrestleMania 41. The Batman Who Laughs was created by Scott Snyder in 2016 and is a hybrid form of Batman and the Joker from DC's Dark Multiverse that formed after Bruce Wayne killed the Joker and was consumed by Joker toxin. The supervillain was featured heavily in DC's Metal saga which culminated with the Batman Who Laughs' death at the hands of Wonder Woman.

Ripley's former Judgment Day stablemate Damian Priest paid tribute to Pinhead from the Hellraiser franchise for his match against Drew McIntyre, while Ripley's former love interest Dominik Mysterio wore a mask inspired by Rey Misterio Sr, his great uncle.

Other tributes included The New Day wearing gear inspired by Giant Gonzalez for their match against the War Raiders. Ivar and Erik were dressed as PEKKA and Barbarian King as part of a tie-in with Clash of Clans.

Liv Morgan also wore ring gear inspired by Olivia Rodrigo's outfit from Lollapalooza Chile, while Randy Orton's trunks paid homage to his original WWE gear from his first main roster run in 2002.

Randy Orton defeated Joe Hendry in his open challenge at WrestleMania 41. Jeff Hardy was also initially considered to be Orton's opponent at the 'Showcase of the Immortals.'
