Interesting Names Work ROH TV Tapings On August 16

Since the debut of AEW Collision back in June, Ring of Honor has often been taped before and after the Saturday night show and that was the case once again this past weekend on August 12. One taping seemingly wasn't enough, though, as an ROH TV taping was held on Wednesday night alongside a live edition of AEW Dynamite and a taped AEW Rampage show. 

While no reason has been given for the extra ROH TV taping, the show did feature Ryan Nemeth and Christopher Daniels, who have both been banned from being at AEW Collision by CM Punk, which also prevents them from working the ROH TV tapings held on Saturday nights too. Colt Cabana also worked the ROH TV taping on Wednesday, August 16, accompanying Brandon Cutler to the ring for his match with Blake Christian. Cabana and Punk have their own issues going back several years. 

Nemeth ultimately lost to ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli on Wednesday night, while Christopher Daniels was defeated by NJPW World Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr.
