She hasn't appeared on AEW programming since March 2
Apr 15, 2021
Ivelisse hasn't appeared in All Elite Wrestling since the March 2 episode of Dark and fans shouldn't expect to see her in the promotion anytime soon.
The AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament winner, in a since-deleted tweet, announced she had been released by the company.
She wrote: "History repeats itself unfortunately. I speak up about mistreatment and get let go. Thats life."
Ivelisse's departure wasn't a surprise within AEW and talent informed Fightful Select they didn't expect her to be back in mid-March following disagreements with agents backstage. The SHINE Champion was said to be in limbo for some time but she was officially released by AEW yesterday.
Following her initial tweet announcing her departure, Ivelisse also accused Thunder Rosa of slander and being unprofessional during their infamous Dynamite match in September 2020, writing: "Nope, it was her being unprofessional, she had done the same thing in LU as well, and was unprofessional hurting my tag partner s jaw the next match and slandering my name the entire time at aew."
Since the tweets, Ivelisse has issued the following statement to Fightful Select: "I spoke up about mistreatment from a Coach, even to other women too, there were witnesses and I was the one suspended and left in limbo and just now let go, and nothing has been done at all the entire time about (Thunder Rosa) slandering my name the entire time in AEW and doing everything to sabotage my position there, I kept quiet, (Thunder Rosa) also has a history of getting involved with officials in order to get ahead which there was a lawsuit and everything in (Lucha Underground)."
AEW has yet to make an official announcement.
