Jack Perry Says It's Fine If AEW Are Too Afraid To Use Him

Jack Perry discusses his relationship with AEW

Jack Perry is certainly settling into his ‘new home’ in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, with the controversial All Elite Wrestling star linking up with House of Torture after making his arrival in the company.

Perry hasn’t featured for AEW since the controversial backstage altercation with CM Punk at All In in August 2023, and conflicting reports have surfaced regarding the current nature of Perry’s relationship with the promotion. However, in an interview with the official NJPW website, Perry brushed off the fact that AEW aren’t booking him:

“Ripping that contract was a declaration ‘I’m not playing by your rules anymore’. If (AEW) are too afraid to have me anymore, if the spectre of Jack Perry is too much, they don’t want to deal with the conversations, the ramifications that brings, then that’s fine,” said Perry.

Perry was asked if he is still AEW’s or if he is in-fact NJPW’s:

“Some of these things are unclear even to me, but I would say this- loyalty is a two way street, and I show loyalty to those who are loyal to me. As of now, certain parties have been very good to me, and I intend to repay that,” answered Perry.

Whilst reports suggested that Perry’s apologies to AEW President Tony Khan have fallen on deaf ears, Khan himself has been vocal about the good work the former Jungle Boy has been doing in New Japan.
