Report: Becky Lynch Not Expected To Leave WWE

Becky Lynch not expected to depart WWE when her contract expires

Although Becky Lynch's contract is set to expire within the next two months, she is not expected to leave WWE. In fact, the expectation is Lynch will likely receive a pay rise as part of any new agreement she reaches with the company, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

"She's not going anywhere, though, or very likely. You never say 100 per cent. She'll get a big, big number. The last contract she got a big number, she'll probably get a bigger one this time," Meltzer said.

Becky Lynch has been a part of WWE since 2013 and she helped bring about the Women's Revolution with the likes of Mercedes Moné, Bayley, and Charlotte Flair. Lynch is a two-time Raw Women's Champion, four-time SmackDown Women's Champion, one-time NXT Women's Champion, and one-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion.

Lynch will have the opportunity to become Women's World Champion at WrestleMania 40 when she challenges Rhea Ripley for the belt. Lynch stated that she wants the match to open WrestleMania. WWE's biggest show of the year will emanate from Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7.
