Jackie Gayda's WWE Career Allegedly Suffered After She Rejected Vince McMahon's Advances

Vince McMahon allegedly made a pass at Jackie Gayda

According to former WWE talent Rene Dupree, Jackie Gayda's WWE career suffered after she rejected Vince McMahon's advances.

"You remember when we had Charlie Haas on here, and he told a story about how Johnny Ace [Laurnatis] fired him and Jackie the day they got back from their honeymoon? Well, let's just say Vince also made a pass at Jackie, which she declined. And you see what happened once her and Charlie got married. If you listen to this story, it seems like if you don't put Vince over and you don't boost his ego, he gets mad at you and takes it out on your career," Dupree said on Cafe de Rene.

After co-winning the second season of Tough Enough, Jackie Gayda signed with WWE in 2002 and she remained a part of the company until her release in 2005. Gayda then had a brief run in TNA and made a one-night return to WWE at WrestleMania 25 as part of a Divas Battle Royal.

Gayda was married to Charlie Haas from 2005 until their divorce in 2020. They have four children together.

Vince McMahon is currently under federal investigation over multiple accusations of sexual assault. McMahon resigned as TKO Executive Chairman in January after being accused of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and physical and emotional abuse in a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant. John Laurinaitis and WWE were also named as defendants.

A newly-released statement written by Ashley Massaro in 2017 has alleged that McMahon preyed on female WWE workers. The lawyer of John Laurinaitis has also claimed that WWE knew about the allegations made by Massaro in 2006, directly contradicting a statement made by the company in 2019.

Former WWE talent Francine also claimed recently she was encouraged by a WWE higher-up to rub oil over her breasts to get Vince McMahon's attention.
