Jacy Jayne Potentially Injured On WWE NXT 2.0

Jacy Jayne looks to have suffered an injury during the October 19 episode of WWE NXT 2.0.

Jayne was competing in a Triple Threat Match against Io Shirai and Persia Pirotta on this week's show, ahead of the trio facing off alongside their respective tag-team partners for the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles at Halloween Havoc next week.

During the bout, Jayne ran the ring to deliver a suicide dive to Persia on the outside. However, it appeared the Toxic Attraction member didn't get enough speed, with her feet seeming to get stuck in the ropes during her dive. Jayne then took a bad landing on the outside, landing in front of Persia rather than on top of her opponent.

The NXT 2.0 went to commercial immediately after, with WWE medica tending to Jayne throughout the break. As NXT returned to broadcast, Jayne was helped to the back and the match was finished by just Shirai and Persia.

No update has been given by WWE on Jayne's status but, at time of writing, she is still being advertised for next week's NXT Women's Tag Team Title match.

On that note, the match was eventually won by Shirai, which gave her and Zoey Stark the honour of spinning the wheel for the 'Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal' Triple Threat at next week’s Halloween Havoc event. The wheel landed on 'Scareway To Hell Ladder Match', confirming the stipulation for the bout.
