Jade Cargill Addresses Potential WWE WrestleMania 40 Match

Will Jade Cargill be in action at WrestleMania XL? 

The former AEW TBS Champion made her in-ring WWE debut as an entrant in the 2024 women's Royal Rumble match, eliminating Nia Jax, Becky Lynch and Naomi before ultimately finishing third. 

Cargill then showed up on the February 2 episode of SmackDown, listening to the offers being pitched by respective brand General Managers. She has not been assigned to an official brand as of yet.

Denise Salcedo caught up with Cargill at the WrestleMania XL Kickoff event and asked whether fans could expect to see her step back into the ring at the Showcase of the Immortals: 

"You're going to have to see that. You're just going to have to see. If I want it, I got it. I'm going to go out there and get it. Let's just say that," Cargill coyly replied. 

A recent report has suggested that WWE intends on having the former AEW TBS Champion wrestle on the SmackDown brand in the lead up to WrestleMania, though it's unclear whether she will have a match on the show itself.

The report added that WWE were 'thrilled' with Cargill appearing in the Mountain Dew commercial which aired during the Superbowl.
