Update On WWE's Plans For Jade Cargill

There are new details on WWE's plans for Jade Cargill

Following on from an impactful debut in the 2024 women’s Royal Rumble match, a lot of eyes were turned towards Jade Cargill. She appeared on WWE programming the following week to weigh up options of which brand to sign for out of RAW and SmackDown. Although initially it was reported that Cargill was supposed to be set for the RAW brand, these plans look to have changed.

In a new report from PWInsider, it has been revealed that there have been talks for Jade Cargill to land on the SmackDown brand in the lead up to WrestleMania 40, though it hasn’t been made clear whether she will end up having a match as the Showcase Of The Immortals as of yet.

Furthermore, PWInsider revealed that the company is “thrilled” with the fact that Jade Cargill appeared in the Mountain Dew Superbowl commercial, where she was seen hitting a frog splash in the ring. This is due to the fact it “adds some prestige to her and WWE”.  Cargill signed with WWE back in September, though the Royal Rumble marked her first official match with the promotion.
