Jake Roberts Returns To AEW At Dark: Elevation Tapings

Jake The Snake is back

Jake Roberts returned to All Elite Wrestling last night during the company's Dark: Elevation tapings in Rochester, New York.

The October 4 edition of Dark: Elevation was taped ahead of Dynamite and Roberts accompanied Lance Archer to the ring for the former IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion's match against Louis Bruno.

Roberts had been off AEW TV since the July 21 edition of Dynamite, when he accompanied Archer for his IWGP US Title win against Jon Moxley. Reports noted that the WWE Hall Of Famer recently underwent foot surgery to have pins inserted into some of his toes and he had since been medically cleared to return.

Following his return, Roberts tweeted: "After 5 weeks off 4 surgery I was bk in the saddle again. Wow what a rush!! (Thx HAWK!!!) I love all the fans that show their appreciation! I came alive!! Thx AEW for making me a part of it. Life is so good."

Roberts has been a part of AEW since March 2020. He initially joined the company on a 10-week deal to manage Lance Archer but he has ultimately stuck around and Jake The Snake revealed earlier this year that he had signed a new two-year deal with AEW.
