Jay White Unhappy With AEW Full Gear Feud & Match Against MJF

Jay White "wasn't thrilled" with the build and AEW Full Gear match against MJF

Jay White main evented his first All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view on Saturday, November 18 as the leader of Bullet Club Gold challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship.

The match did not go how anyone expected, though, as a kayfabe injured MJF stole a fire truck to make it to the ring for the main event and proceeded to do his best Super Cena impression as he wrestled 29 minutes with an injured quadriceps. MJF then managed to overcome bungled interference from Adam Cole and an attack from The Gunns on his way to victory over White following a Dynamite diamond ring shot.

The Full Gear main event has been criticised by some, particularly the booking of Jay White who failed to overcome MJF despite all of his storyline advantages. White himself doesn't appear to be particularly happy either as Wade Keller of PWTorch has reported that based on what he's been told Jay White "wasn't thrilled" with the build and AEW Full Gear match against MJF.

White now finds himself as part of the Gold League in the AEW Continental Classic. He scored an opening round victory over Rush on the November 22 edition of Dynamite to get back on track after his Full Gear loss.
