Jeff Hardy Leaving AEW, Future Plans Revealed

Jeff Hardy’s future plans revealed after confirmation of AEW exit

Jeff Hardy is reportedly a free agent, and has left All Elite Wrestling at the expiration of his deal.

A report from Fightful Select states that Hardy’s deal expired on June 14, and any plans by AEW to add time onto his deal due to injury/sabbaticals has apparently not come to fruition. Hardy signed with AEW in 2022 but his run was marred by legal issues, with Hardy missing a huge chunk of in-ring time after a DUI arrest in Summer 2022.

Jeff’s brother Matt Hardy exited AEW in the Spring, returning to TNA Wrestling at the Rebellion pay-per-view event on April 20. An additional report from PWInsider states that Jeff is in line to make his own TNA return, with the former TNA World Champion set to rejoin the company for a third run this weekend. PWInsider were not sure what Hardy’s role would be in TNA this weekend, with brother Matt set to challenge TNA World Champion Moose at Against All Odds on June 14.

Fightful corroborated PWInsider’s report, with sources within TNA telling them they were ‘naturally interested’ in bringing Jeff back in to the company. TNA’s Leon Slater recently revealed that Hardy has praised his Swanton 450.
