Jeff Hardy Pre-Trial Hearing Set For January 18

Jeff Hardy’s pre-trial hearing set for January 18 after multiple delays

Jeff Hardy is finally set to for his pre-trial hearing on January 18 after several postponements.

Hardy was arrested on three charges including DUI in June 2022, with Hardy’s legal team waiving the right to a speedy trial, instead requesting his original hearing in July 2022 be delayed by 60 days to assist in Hardy’s defence. Further delays were granted, with the last granted before a scheduled hearing in December 2022 was due to take place.

Should Hardy be convicted then he could face up to five years imprisonment, with the primary charge faced by Hardy being a felony charge under Florida law. This was Hardy’s third DUI charge within 10 years.

Hardy was suspended without pay by AEW after his initial arrest, with AEW mandating that Hardy will not return until he completes a course of rehab and can provably maintain his sobriety.

Jeff’s brother Matt Hardy recently admitting on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast that he’s unsure if Jeff Hardy will ever return to pro wrestling.
