Jeff Hardy Returns To AEW On Dynamite

The Hardy Boyz reunite

Jeff Hardy made his return to AEW on Wednesday night's episode of Dynamite in Milwaukee, after a 10-month absence.

Hardy made the save for brother Matt, as well as Hook and Isiah Kassidy, as they were being attacked by Firm members Ethan Page, Big Bill, and Lee Moriarty. Hardy  attacked the heels with a chair before dropping Moriarty with a Twist of Fate, and then following up with a Swanton Bomb.

Hardy last wrestled for AEW on May 29, 2022, at last year's Double or Nothing. He was scheduled to team with Matt in a Tag Team title ladder match on a June Dynamite, but was arrested days beforehand in Florida on several charges, including felony DUI and driving with a suspended license.

Tony Khan later announced that Hardy would be suspended without pay. Khan also stated that to return to AEW, Hardy would have to complete alcohol rehab treatment, and maintain his sobriety.

This past February, Hardy was sentenced to a 38-day jail sentence (which he had already served), two years probation, $4,500 in court fees, and a license suspension of ten years.
